Some of my petunias did better in October and November than they did all summer long.
That action will soon come to a screeching halt. A half-inch of snow is predicted tonight and in the next few days we’ll see a hard freeze with temperatures dropping as low as 17F.
That also means the end for these mums which are poking out from all of the fallen oak leaves:
