Shortly after Thanksgiving I was knocked back by a nasty virus with flu-like symptoms. It feels like it’s taking forever to recover! Because Christmas is sneaking up faster than ever this year and I still don’t have my full energy back, we’ve decided to skip the Christmas tree this year.
I’ll have to settle for this little Christmas cactus (that unfortunately started dropping all its buds once I got it home from the garden center):
And my two poinsettia plants that I purchased in mid-November (this is the non-glitter plant. You’re welcome, Mom):
