My daffodils have hit their peak. Because we haven’t had any really warm days yet, the flowers are lasting a long time this year.
And daffodils are the one bulb that the squirrels and voles and bunnies leave alone, so I actually get to enjoy the blooms.
I just wish it didn’t take so long for that daylily-like foliage to die back once the flowers are done blooming. If it wasn’t for that, I’d plant a lot more daffodils!
