In early April I noticed my irises were coming up in a campfire pattern meaning they needed to be divided. At that time the rest of my perennials in my flowerbeds were slow to peek out, so I didn’t know where there was space to transplant the divided iris clump. I was lazy and stuck it next to the original clump.
Now I have fifteen stalks shooting up from those two clumps which will be the most flowers I’ve ever gotten from this particular cultivar. I can’t wait to see them all in full bloom!
