Not Time for ‘Time Zone’

My Orienpet lily ‘Time Zone’ is usually the last lily cultivar to bloom before lily season ends for the year, so I was a little concerned when it bloomed almost 3 weeks early this year. Thankfully it did not signal a shorter blooming season for my other lilies.

This lily grows 4 to 6 feet tall (mine usually tops out at 5 feet) with medium-pink flowers that have a white and green throat.

The flowers have a slight fragrance and at dusk they appear to almost glow in the dark.

‘Time Zone’ is hardy in USDA Zones 4-8. This one fades a bit in full sun, so you’ll want to plant it where it gets some shade during the heat of the day.
