I’m still hoping to one day get a decent photograph of a Fox Sparrow, but today is not that day. This one hangs out under my kitchen window in spot that makes it impossible to take a successful photo through the glass.
Fox Sparrows are very skittish and always in motion. They like to jump back and forth on the ground to kick up insects and seeds hiding in the leaf matter.
I hope this one sticks around for awhile, but it’s probably just passing through on its migration further south.
