The second amaryllis to bloom for me this season is ‘Monaco’. The bright-red blooms have a white starburst with tinges of lime green at the center.
And those flowers are HUGE!
‘Monaco’ grows 20 to 24 inches tall. My plant has one 24-inch stem with 5 flowers on it, and another stem is already peaking up from the base of the bulb.
