Hyacinth ‘Jan Bos’ has eye-catching, fuschia-pink flowers. Those flowers practically glow on my windowsill.
Like other hyacinths, this one has a lovely fragrance, and outside the plants grow 8 to 12 inches tall in full to partial-sun.
This lovely cultivar won the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit in 1993 and again in 2008, and the bulbs are quite easy to force indoors. Outside they’ll bloom in mid-spring.
