After seeing the size of the rabbits that survived winter in our neighborhood, plus knowing squirrels love to bite the heads off tulips out of pure spite, I decided to put chicken wire around some of the ones I planted last fall in hopes I can enjoy them a little longer.
There aren’t as many good photo-ops when flowers are surrounded by fencing, and they’re harder to see from across the yard, but at least the blooms are still attached to the stems so far!
