My peony ‘Moonstone’ plant just keeps getting better every year. Right now it’s about 4 feet tall and just loaded with blooms. We desperately need rain, but if there’s one bright side to the lack of rain it’s that no storms have pummeled my peonies.
I planted ‘Moonstone’ in 2016 and it arrived as a tuber. I was skeptical anything would ever become of it, but within 2 years it was a full, happy bush full of flowers!
‘Moonstone’ has an old-school peony scent. One or two flowers in a vase fills the whole house with that wonderful fragrance.
This 1942 hybrid grows 3 to 4 feet tall and wide with very pale pink flowers. They look white until the sun shines on them and then you can see that blush of pink.
‘Moonstone’ is hardy in Zones 3-7.
