I’ve blogged about Amaryllis ‘Red Pearl’ many times because it’s such a stunner. I grew a bulb again this year and I’m still just as enamored with those 8-inch velvety, red-black flowers!
I have yet to find a camera (including phone) that can capture the color—I highly recommend you grow one and see it for yourself.
‘Red Pearl’ grows 20 inches tall. My first scape has 7 blooms and buds on it and a second scape is getting ready to open very soon.
