Amaryllis ‘Samba’ sent up 2 scapes at the same time so all 8 flowers opened at once and tried to jockey for space.
Those red-and-white flowers are 7 inches across and almost round in shape. Their centers are lime green.
This cultivar is listed as 24 inches in height, and both my scapes are 22 inches. I like that ‘Samba’ stands up straight so I don’t have to turn the pot every day to keep those scapes from leaning toward the window.
