My Dahlia ‘Figaro’ plants are acting like they’re just as happy to be growing in late September as mid-July. They haven’t tired out at all.
I’ve even seen hummingbirds visiting the flowers which I’ve never witnessed before.
The first day of fall is feeling very fall-like with our first overnight low temps in the 40s(F) since March. It won’t be long before a hard frost brings an end to the growing season.
