While sorting through some of my digital images I found these photos of Oriental lilies I used to grow years ago before chipmunks ate the bulbs or they didn’t survive the winter. I love Oriental lilies—especially their scent.
With a stalk borer (probably with friends) already in my backyard and the Lily Leaf Beetle lurking not-too-far away in Wisconsin, it’s not worth it to plant any Oriental lilies anytime soon. I’ll just enjoy my photos instead.
