If you want a perennial that blooms all summer long, look no further than Coreopsis ‘Sunray.’ I planted this cultivar in the flowerbed at my husband’s office last summer, and I was thrilled when the plant bloomed from early summer until frost. This spring I bought 2 of them for my own garden.

‘Sunray’ grows 18 to 24 inches tall with daisy-like, golden-yellow flowers. The plant stays in a nice well-behaved clump.

‘Sunray’ is drought-resistant and doesn’t have any insect or disease problems. If you keep it deadheaded, it will bloom as profusely as an annual.
