Join me as I take a trip through the alphabet from A to Z and showcase some of my favorite plants that I’ve grown in my flowerbeds over the last 30 years!
I’m cheating on this one—I haven’t grown any flowers that start with an X, so ‘Yellow Explosion’ daylily is the closest I can get! This dormant daylily won an Honorable Mention from the American Hemerocallis Socity in 2011. The plants grow 26 inches tall with 5.5″ yellow flowers that bloom late in the daylily season.
