Join me as I take a trip through the alphabet from A to Z and showcase some favorite plants that I’ve grown in my flowerbeds over the last 30 years!
‘Joan Derifield’ is a lovely violet-red dayily with huge 7-inch flowers. The plants grow 35 inches tall, so it makes a nice anchor plant for the back of a flowerbed. The flowers hold their color well (that center photo was taken after the plant had endured an afternoon of hot sun), and this daylily cultivar even received an American Dayily Society Honorable Mention award in 2003!
