Amaryllis ‘Silver Dream’ has rosy-red flowers with white striations, a lime throat and little white edges on the petals. This cultivar is unique because the back of the petals are silver.
‘Silver Dream’ is a Dutch amaryllis that grows 24 inches tall. Both scapes from my bulb did indeed reach 24 inches, and each featured four 7-inch flowers.
‘Silver Dream’ is one of the few amaryllis bulbs that I did not have to stake this winter. The sturdy scapes stand up straight.
