I purchased daylily ‘Army Knights’ in 2020, so this is its third summer in my front yard. It was bred to handle tough Wisconsin winters, but I also knew it would have to endure salt spray from the passing snowplows. It has survived two winters so far without any problems, and I give ‘Army Knights’ an A plus!
This golden-yellow beauty grows 32 inches tall, and this summer my plant was loaded with buds.
My favorite time of day to view this daylily is in the early evening. The setting sun reflecting off the flowers causes them to burst into an orange glow that will definitely catch your attention!
