While I was waiting outside for a friend to pick me up last Friday, I gazed at my pots of fading Preciosa zinnias. That’s when I noticed something odd. We had a week of much-needed rain, and some of the seeds in the seed heads decided to sprout!
I’m getting ready to clean up my annual beds for the season, but I’m tempted to leave these flower heads for a bit longer to see how big the seedlings can get!
