Join me as I take a trip through the alphabet from A to Z and showcase some favorite plants that I’ve grown in my flowerbeds over the last 30 years!
Fritillaria meleagris, or checkered lilies, have little bell-like hanging flowers that appear in April and May. The plants are deer and rodent-resistant and they are hardy in Zones 3-8. They prefer partial sun or light shade and come in maroon or white. These unique little plants grow 8 to 12 inches tall.
