One of the last daylilies to bloom for me each summer is ‘Last Picture Show’. It is an amazingly-fragrant daylily with- 6-inch flowers that appear on 26-inch-tall scapes.
‘Last Picture Show’ is an evergreen daylily that has always bloomed heavily for me, so I have it growing in several places in our yard.
The flowers are medium-pink, but they can take on a bit of a salmon hue when the sun shines on them in late afternoon.
‘Last Picture Show’ was registered in 1996 and won a Eugene S. Foster (ESF) award in 2003 from the American Daylily Society for “Best Late Season Bloomer.”
