‘Naranja’ is an eye-catching amaryllis in a shade of dark orange.
The scapes grow up to 24 inches tall. The bulb I potted up sent up two scapes, one right after the another, and both were 22 inches tall with four, 7-inch flowers.
The fiery orange color will brighten up any winter windowsill!
This cultivar leaned slightly for me, but I think it’s because both scapes tried to bloom at once and there wasn’t enough room for eight, 7-inch flowers in such a small space. So each scape leaned away from the other one. Thankfully, I did not have to stake them.
