‘Password’ is the first double late tulip I’ve ever grown. The flower buds are white with green flames:
As the flowers mature, those green flames slowly turn yellow.
And then a soft pink appears as the flowers continue to bloom:
I’m a little confused by the fact that this double late cultivar actually bloomed before all of my double EARLY tulip cultivars.
‘Password’ grows 14 to 16 inches tall and is hardy in Zones 3-7.
