Daylily ‘Inquire Within’

Daylily ‘Inquire Within’ bloomed for me for the first time this summer, and I just fell in love with its purply-blue eyezone. Like many other daylilies, the flowers appear to change color depending on the time of day and amount of available light.

In my garden the blooms change from neon lavender with a bluish eyezone in the morning light to lavender-pink with a royal purple eyezone in the afternoon sun.

‘Inquire Within’ is a tall, early-to-mid-season bloomer. The scapes grow 34 inches high with 5-inch flowers.
