When we took down our old apple tree earlier this spring, some of my astilbes and heucheras were in shock. It didn’t help that the temperatures zoomed from the 60s to the 90s for a couple of days. But one of my plants was very happy with the new light conditions. My ‘Baby Sister’ Siberian iris bloomed for the first time in years. I had intended to move ‘Baby Sister’ to a sunnier location, but every spring I forgot about it.
‘Baby Sister’ is a dwarf Siberian Iris that can be used in the middle or front of the border. It grows 14 inches tall with beautiful blue-violet flowers.
