Daylily ‘Huckleberry Candy’

While I’m usually attracted to bold-colored daylilies, I’ve fallen in love with the more subtle ‘Huckleberry Candy’.

This charmer grows 20 inches tall with 4-inch cream-colored flowers with a bluish eye. Some daylilies need a little time to adjust to a new location, but I planted ‘Huckleberry Candy’ in the front of one of my flowerbeds in late fall, and the following summer it thrived and bloomed like crazy for weeks.

This dormant daylily is fragrant and blooms early-to-mid-season.
