I lost a few butterfly bushes over the winter. I protected the ones in the front of the house with straw, but I forgot about my plants in the backyard.
‘Butterfly Heaven’ survived despite my neglect. I’m really starting to like this new cultivar. The flowers (panicles) are longer and thicker than other butterfly bushes and the plants are much bushier.
‘Butterfly Heaven’ grows 6 feet tall with pretty lilac-colored blooms that blend well with just about any other color. And most importantly, it’s a butterfly magnet.
