The Best Scent

The dreamy-scented blooms of Koreanspice viburnum bushes were already fully opened in our city’s arboretum last week. My bushes are a week or so behind. The one that grows in the sun started opening up this week. The one that grows in partial-shade in our backyard is taking its sweet time.

The scent of these flowers is even better than old-fashioned lilacs if you ask me.
