Some people complain that Knock Out roses are a little too garish for their gardens. I’ll admit that some of the colors are definitely bright like this ‘Double Knock Out’ rose:

But I find it hard to complain about a plant that needs little care and cranks out flowers like this all summer long:

‘Double Knock Out’ reaches 3 or 4 feet tall with a similar spread. It’s resistant to black spot and doesn’t need deadheading to keep blooming. It’s hardy in Zones 5-9.

Hi Em,
This is such a beautiful rose bush. I’ll have to invest in one or two of them next year. I’m especially impressed because of it being resistant to black spot. I have that problem with both of my roses. Does this type of rose come in other colors? The red is really lovely, though.

Most of the Knockout roses are in shades of pink: hot pink, cerise, light-pink and even coral-pink. There is also a Knockout with yellow flowers that fade to cream. You can check them all out here:
