My love affair with Double Early tulips continues with ‘Abba’. The fire-engine-red flowers glow so brightly that my camera has trouble focusing on them.
Like other Double Early tulips, ‘Abba’ is a short-statured tulip. It grows 10 to 12 inches tall with multiple petals that resemble peonies.
The flowers are fragrant and incredibly sturdy. They tolerate wind and rain with ease.
