My first batch of forced tulips started blooming a little more than 2 weeks after I brought them out of cold storage. This is Single Early tulip ‘Jenny’:
The flowers are very small but they make up for it by opening fully during the day. I like the citrusy, orange-yellow color.
I have 3 more pots of forced tulips rarin’ to go. I fetched one of them from the refrigerator last week and retrieved the remaining two this week in order to stagger the blooms over a month or more.
