The critters are in a spiteful mood this so far this spring. I’m finding almost as many beheaded tulips as I am blooming ones.
It would easier to endure this little act of disobedience if the squirrels and chipmunks actually ate the blooms. Instead they lop them off and scurry away, leaving all that potential to whither away on the ground.
