I purchased another astilbe from the Music series this spring. This is ‘Drum and Bass’:
The fuzzy flowers are electric pink.
‘Drum and Bass’ grows 18 to 24 inches tall and wide. Like other astilbes, the plant prefers moist soil in partial shade or shade, but you can also grow astilbes in full sun if you keep them well-watered.
Astilbes bloom for a month or more in early-to-mid-summer and are great for adding a wonderful dash of color to shady areas.
