Amaryllis ‘Alfresco’ really packs a punch. I couldn’t believe the size of the buds bursting out of such a diminutive plant.
‘Alfresco’ has beautiful, 6-inch double flowers with a chartreuse eye. My plant is only 12 inches tall and yet the first stalk has managed to cram in 5 flowers. A second stalk has already started to peek out from the top of the bulb. Each of the flowers has 20 or more creamy-white petals.
I’m generally not a fan of white flowers, but ‘Alfresco’ is one impressive amaryllis.
