The longer I grow daylilies, the more my tastes change. I’m still enchanted by the vivid-colored blooms, but lately I’ve found myself falling for creams and light pinks or yellows.
‘Susan Weber’ is a light rose-pink daylily that grows 26 inches tall with 5.75″ blooms. The yellow-green throat and rose edges give the flowers a different look depending on the available light.
In the shade or on cloudy days, ‘Susan Weber’ has cool, icy-pink blooms. When the flowers are touched by sunlight, the pink, rose and yellow colors reflect off one another to give the flowers a warm, coral-pink glow:
‘Susan Weber’ is one of the last daylilies to bloom in my garden and well worth the wait.
