Daylily ‘Siloam Lilac Magic’ is aptly-named. The diamond-dusted flowers are a magical shade of silvery-lavender and have just a hint of blue in them. That’s all topped off with a playful lime-green throat and contrasting dark-green foliage. This beauty stops me in my tracks every time.
‘Siloam Lilac Magic’ grows only 22 inches tall, but the fragrant flowers are 5 inches wide. It’s a dormant daylily that blooms earlier in the daylily season.
The flowers look great with dark-purple or white perennials, and their cool color lends itself to cottage gardens. My plant brightens up an area that only gets a half-day’s sun.
