The rodents concentrated all their wrath on my backyard tulips. The double early tulips in the front yard managed to escape unscathed. One of my favorites is ‘Orca’. The color is rich and unusual, and the flowers really stand out from a distance.
‘Orca’ grows 10 to 12 inches tall on sturdy stems in Zones 3-8. The flowers are resistant to wind and rain/snow.
So far I’m quite pleased with all of my double early tulips. They’ve returned faithfully for three years in a row.
