‘Rhythm and Blues’ is one fantastic little astilbe and is fast becoming one of my favorite perennials. The bright-pink, fuzzy flowers command your attention and really add a punch of color to shady flowerbeds.
Like other astilbes, ‘Rhythm and Blues’ prefers moist soil in partial shade or shade, but the plants will thrive in sunnier conditions if they are kept well-watered.
The flowers grow 25 inches tall and float above lacy, dark-green foliage. ‘Rhythm and Blues’ blooms for several weeks in June and July and is hardy in Zones 3-8.
