Aster ‘Milady Lilac’

I recently raved about Aster ‘Milady Deep Blue which I grew for the first time this summer. I also planted its sibling ‘Milady Lilac’:

‘Milady Lilac’ has pretty, mum-like blooms that are light lavender to bluish-pink depending on the light conditions.

This dwarf aster grows 10 to 12 inches tall with 3-inch flowers. My plants bloomed happily through several heat waves and didn’t poop out until late summer. I don’t know if they would’ve rallied in the cooler fall weather because the bunnies started gnawing on them again.

Despite the bedeviling bunnies, I would definitely grow this cultivar again.

Again another beautiful Mum! Wish I had more space at home to grow them. Here they don’t bloom until late in the season. James
