My favorite amaryllis flowers are the dark reds like this one. ‘Ferrari Red’ has rich, velvety, blood-red flowers:
My plant has 4 huge blossoms on it, and another fresh scape has just emerged from the soil.
‘Ferrari Red’ grows 20 to 26 inches tall. My plant is 20 inches tall with 7-inch flowers.
I would definitely grow this big-flowered red again.
