‘Old King Cole’ is a unique royal-purple-and-ivory bi-color with a bright-yellow throat:
The blooms are quite large and appear on 32-inch scapes. This is a dormant daylily with a good blooming habit.
One of its parents is the beautiful ‘Emperor Butterfly’ (pictured below)—one of my favorites:
