I’m not big on spring-blooming flowers, but tiarella (foamflower) ‘Sugar and Spice’ has such pretty foliage that I thought it would make a great addition to my shade garden.
‘Sugar and Spice’ grows 8 inches tall with 13-inch flowers that bloom in May and early June. It prefers partial shade to full shade conditions and can even tolerate dry shade once established. The dainty flowers are soft pink and slightly fragrant.
