New plants usually need time to get established in their new “homes” for a year or so before they really showcase what they can do. That was not the case with Coreopsis ‘Full Moon’ for me. I tucked my plant into a flowerbed in May and by mid-July it was already behaving like it had been growing there for years.
If you’re looking for a new perennial to add to your yard this spring. Keep your eye out for this blooming fool. The plants grow 18-24 inches tall with butter-yellow flowers that appear on upright stems.
‘Full Moon’ was still sending up new flowers for me in mid-November. I was so impressed by this plant’s first-year performance that I plan to add a couple more of them to my flowerbeds this year.
