Daylily ‘Brown Witch’ adds a unique color to a flowerbed. The flowers are an interesting shade of brown with a purple eye and nice contrasting golden-yellow throat.
Out of the hundreds of daylily cultivars I’ve grown, ‘Brown Witch’ is one of the fastest growers. I’ve divided this daylily and watched the new plants bloom like they were 3-year established plants the following summer.
‘Brown Witch’ sends up 36-inch scapes with 6-inch flowers that have recurved petals and sepals.
This daylily’s form is classified as “spider” and it blooms in the middle of the daylily season.
