We drove to Nebraska for a surprise 80th birthday party for my father-in-law over the weekend. Twenty-three family members had to keep a secret for a very long time. We had some near misses along the way, but he never caught on and it was a smashing success.
We also saw the “Hay Capital of the World”, slept in a tiny, haunted B&B that used to be a mental institution and found the rainbow’s end. Not bad for a weekend.
