This is why I love LA and Orienpet lilies. Last year my new ‘Algarve’ LA lilies treated me to 17 flowers.
This year there are (will be) more than 60 flowers. Kapow!
LA lilies are a cross between an Asiatic and an Easter lily. The plants have strong stalks and every year they increase in height and number of flowers.
‘Algarve’ grows 3 to 4 feet tall and starts blooming in late July. The bulbs are hardy in Zones 4-8.
