I visited 3 garden centers over the weekend, and rainbow colors must be in! In every location there were pots and planters and watering cans in yummy bright hues.
It was such a soul boost to be among growing things again.
The snow has melted, but it was 19 degrees (F) last night, so we still have plenty of room for improvement! And so far the forecast for this coming weekend looks a bit messy with some freezing rain or even slushy snow. A NWS meteorologist cautioned that we shouldn’t drain the gasoline from the snowblower quite yet…
I bought some plants to replace my sad-looking fairy garden plants. Say a prayer for them.
And I picked up a few pots of forced hyacinths. They should bloom in the next couple of days, so if we do get more wintry weather, at least it will smell like spring in my office!
