My husband and I visited the local arboretum last weekend before they closed down the main road and allowed only bikers and walkers. Already the place was packed with so many people that the parking lot filled up and people were parking along the entrance road.
The crabapple trees were just starting to hit peak, so it was a gorgeous feast for the eyes and a delight for the nose. And thankfully for us, many people were heading home for dinner when we arrived so we didn’t have to worry about getting too close to anyone.
