Boisterous Bleeding Heart

This year, on a warm day in early spring, I put linking stakes around the tallest bleeding heart that grows in my backyard so I could try to rein it in.

But that did not stop the monster from taking over its flowerbed again just a few weeks later.

I guess I better relocate the astilbes that are buried somewhere under all those leaves!
